NASO will promote awareness and interests of Native American culture at UNCC and within the community. NASO is dedicated to developing programing that strives to better the understanding of the community about Native peoples and for the preservation of Native culture. We also will continue with our efforts to work for the acceptance of diversity within our community. We will provide fellowship for Natives and others who are interested in Native culture. We will unite indigenous populations of the United States, Central and South America and First Nation groups of Canada on campus and within the community.
