This event is held to educate the UNC Charlotte community on the potential health effects and dangers of HIV/AIDS by showing a series of films that focus on that topic. THe events will also include information tables, free giveaways, and free HIV/AIDS testing for all interested students. Because nearly 1 million people worldwide suffer the effects of hunger, including one out of seven Americans, attention needs to be given to education and mobilization of hunger relief. This event will showcase the problem itself, and allow participants to learn about the worldwide hunger epidemic through hosting the Director of one of the largest hunger relief organizations in the world. As well as participate in a hands-exercise to solidify their awareness.
